Aver Power Solution (“we”, “us”) runs this website. This page explains, in simple words, what personal data we collect, why we need it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to help you go solar, and we never sell your data.

1. What we collect

  • Callback / free site visit form: your name, mobile number, city or area, average monthly electricity bill and whether solar is for a home, business or farm.
  • Customer account: your name, mobile number, email address and password. The password is stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form — nobody, including us, can read it.
  • Email verification codes: a one-time code is emailed to you when you sign up or reset your password. We store only a scrambled copy of the code, which expires after 5 minutes.
  • Reviews: your star rating, review text, name, city, system size and, if you add one, a photo of your installation. Your mobile number on a review is optional and is never shown on the website.
  • Technical data: your IP address and the time of your request, used to stop spam and misuse.

We use a single small cookie that keeps you logged in during your visit. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use it

  • To call you back, plan a free site visit and prepare your solar quote.
  • To create and protect your account (email codes, login, password reset).
  • To publish your review on the website — only after you tick the consent box, and only after we check it.
  • To help you with the PM Surya Ghar subsidy application, if you choose to go ahead.
  • To prevent spam, fake sign-ups and misuse of the website.

We use your data only on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form. We will not send you marketing messages unless you ask us to.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only when needed:

  • Service providers who run the website for us — our web hosting company and our email provider (used to send verification codes).
  • Government portals and your electricity company (DISCOM) — only if you ask us to file your subsidy or net-metering application.
  • When the law requires it, for example a valid request from a government authority.

4. How long we keep it

  • Callback requests: up to 2 years, so we can follow up and support your installation.
  • Customer accounts: until you ask us to delete the account.
  • Reviews and photos: while they are shown on the website, or until you ask us to remove them.
  • Email codes are deleted after 7 days; spam-protection records after 2 days.

5. How we protect it

The website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection. Passwords and codes are stored only in scrambled form, uploaded photos have their location (GPS) details removed, and only authorised Aver Power Solution staff can see enquiries in our admin area.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you,
  • correct or update it,
  • delete it, or remove your review, or
  • withdraw your consent — we will then stop using your data (this may mean we can no longer give you a quote).

Write to us using the details below. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our reply, you may also contact the Data Protection Board of India.
